# Make Your Own Cards

Make Your Own Cards let you personalize your child's listening. Link songs, stories, voice recordings, playlists or free Wonder Library content to a card, and your child plays it by tapping the card on the Pod.

## What is a Make Your Own Card?

It's a customizable Wonder Card that links to audio you choose in the MyWonder Parent App. The card doesn't store audio itself. It connects to a playlist in your child's library, so the Pod knows what to play when the card is tapped.

## Link content to a card

> **Info**
>
> You need an NFC-enabled phone to link cards.

#### Open the Parent App

Open the MyWonder Parent App.

#### Pick a playlist

Create a new playlist or select an existing one.

#### Add content

Upload your own audio files (songs, stories, recordings), or choose free content from the Wonder Library in the app.

#### Link to the card

Tap **Link to Card**, then hold the Wonder Card to your phone when prompted.

The playlist is now linked to the card.

## What happens when my child taps the card?

The first time:

1. The Pod recognizes the card.
2. It checks the linked playlist.
3. It downloads the content, then starts playback.

The first download may take a few minutes, depending on your Wi-Fi speed and the playlist size. After that, playback is instant every time.

## Common questions

#### Does the card work without Wi-Fi?

Yes. Once the content is downloaded to the Pod, it plays offline anytime. Wi-Fi is only needed for the first download and when you update or change the playlist.

#### Can I change the content later?

Yes. Open the MyWonder app, select or create a playlist, tap **Link to Card** and hold the card to your phone again. The previous content is replaced automatically.

#### Can I add my own voice recordings?

Yes. You can upload voice recordings, family messages, bedtime stories and custom songs to make the experience personal for your child.

#### How much content can one card hold?

The card links to content in your child's library rather than storing it, but we recommend keeping each playlist **under 30 minutes**. This keeps the first download quick. You can update or swap playlists anytime.

#### Can different cards have different playlists?

Yes. Each card works independently, so you could have one for bedtime stories, one for car-ride songs, one for learning games, one for free Wonder Library content and one for family voice notes.

#### Why does it take a few minutes after tapping?

The first time a card is tapped, the Pod reads the card, downloads the linked playlist and then starts playing. From the second tap on, playback is instant.
