Make Your Own card FAQ

Q: What is a Make Your Own Card?

A Make Your Own Card lets you link your own audio to a Wonder card. You can add songs, stories, recordings, or playlists from the MyWonder app and play them instantly by tapping the card on your Wonder Pod.

Q: How do I add content to the card?

Open the MyWonder app, create a custom playlist or choose an existing playlist, upload the audio files to the playlist, tap Link to Card, then hold the card to your NFC-enabled phone. Now the playlist will be linked to the card

Q: What happens when my child taps the card on the Pod?

The Pod recognizes the card and plays the linked playlist automatically. If it’s the first time, the content will download to the device first, which may take a few minutes depending on Wi-Fi speed and the size of the playlist. After that, it plays instantly.

Q: Does the card work without Wi-Fi?

Yes. Once the content has downloaded to the Pod, it can play offline anytime. Wi-Fi is only needed for the first download or when updating or changing playlists.

Q: Can I change the content later?

Absolutely. Simply relink the card using the app and assign a new playlist. The old content will be replaced automatically.

Q: Can I add my own voice recordings?

Yes. You can upload your voice, family messages, bedtime stories, or custom songs to make the experience more personal.

Q: How much content can one card hold?

The card doesn’t store audio itself -it links to content in your child’s library. We recommend storing less than 30 minutes of content in a single card to reduce the time it takes for initial download. You can update or swap playlists anytime.

Q: Can multiple cards have different playlists?

Yes. Each card can be linked to a completely different playlist, such as bedtime stories, car ride songs, learning games, or voice notes.

Q: Why does it take a few minutes after tapping?

The Pod checks the card and downloads the playlist for the first time before playing. From the second time onwards, it will play instantly
