Q: How do I set up Wi‑Fi?
A: 

1. Install the MyWonder App on your phone and follow the instructions to connect the device to your home Wifi network. 

2. You can also turn on the Wifi hotspot on the device by pressing the left button for 5 seconds and then connect your phone/tablet to the device’s hotspot, then open a browser and navigate to http://192.168.10.10 and enter the wifi credentials for your home wifi network on that page.

Q: What is the hotspot name?
A: The hotspot name is MYWONDER_{device_id} where the device_id is the device serial number printed at the bottom of your WonderPod.

Q: How does the device connect to Wi‑Fi?
A: It first looks for Wi‑Fi names (SSIDs) it already remembers. If it finds one nearby, it tries to connect.

Q: What if it doesn’t remember any Wi‑Fi yet?
A: It makes its own Wi‑Fi hotspot so you can connect to it and set up Wi‑Fi.

Q: How many Wi‑Fi networks can it remember?
A: Up to 15 Wi‑Fi names and passwords.

Q: Which saved Wi‑Fi does it pick?
A: It picks the strongest signal it can see. If there’s a special “favorite” Wi‑Fi built in, it tries that first.

Q: What happens after it connects successfully?
A: It saves the Wi‑Fi info, and then turns off its hotspot after about 2 minutes.

Q: What if the Wi‑Fi password is wrong?
A: It stops trying that time and shows a “failed” status, so you can try again.

Q: What if the Wi‑Fi connection is lost later?
A: It scans for saved Wi‑Fi again. If it can’t reconnect, it turns the hotspot back on.

Q: Does it keep checking for Wi‑Fi if it’s not connected?
A: Yes. It keeps checking in the background. It starts checking often (about every 30 seconds), then slows down up to every 15 minutes.

Q: How can I disconnect the device from Wifi?
A: You cannot. MyWonder is primarily a connected device and needs wifi to work. Some functions of the device(e.g. Playback of audio that is already downloaded) can happen without Wifi. 

Q: Is it always a hotspot and a regular Wi‑Fi device at the same time?
A: Once it’s connected to your home Wi‑Fi, it switches to normal Wi‑Fi‑only mode. To turn the hotspot ON again, press and hold the left button for 5 seconds. The LED eyes will turn blue which means the hotspot is ON
