Modified on Mon, 2 Mar at 11:35 PM

MyWonder Talking Cards bring AI characters to life through real-time, two-way conversations on your Wonder Pod.

Designed for interactive, screen-free engagement, Talking Cards allow children to speak naturally and receive intelligent responses — just tap and start talking.

What Are Talking Cards?

Talking Cards are special tap-to-connect cards that link your child to AI-powered characters.

When tapped on the Wonder Pod, they:

  • Connect to a live AI character

  • Enable real-time voice conversations

  • Create dynamic, personalized experiences

Unlike regular Content Cards, Talking Cards are interactive and conversational.

How Talking Cards Work

Each Talking Card contains built-in NFC technology.

When your child taps a Talking Card on the Pod:

  1. The Pod recognizes the card.

  2. It begins connecting to the AI character.

  3. The LED turns purple while connecting.

  4. Once connected, the conversation begins.

Your child can then speak naturally and interact with the character in real time.

Does It Require Wi-Fi?

Yes.

Talking Cards require a stable Wi-Fi connection because conversations happen live in real time.

For the best experience:

  • Use a strong and stable Wi-Fi network.

  • Keep the device within good signal range.

Without Wi-Fi, Talking Cards will not function.

Can the Microphone Be Turned Off?

Yes.

For parental control and privacy:

  • The microphone can be turned ON or OFF using the Mic button.

  • It can even be turned off during a conversation.

If the mic is turned off, the character will not be able to hear your child.

What Kind of Conversations Can Happen?

Talking Cards can enable:

  • Story-based adventures

  • Role play and imaginative scenarios

  • Question-and-answer learning

  • Games and challenges

  • Skill-building conversations

Each Talking Card is designed around a specific character or theme.

What Happens If the Connection Is Slow?

If the internet connection is weak:

  • The device may take longer to connect.

  • Responses may be slightly delayed.

Improving Wi-Fi signal strength usually resolves this.

How Are Talking Cards Different from Content Cards?

Talking Cards:

  • Enable live, two-way conversations

  • Require Wi-Fi

  • Create dynamic, interactive experiences

Content Cards:

  • Play immersive audio experiences

  • Work offline after download

  • Focus on listening

Both use the same simple tap-to-play interaction, but Talking Cards allow children to actively participate in conversations.

Tips for the Best Experience

  • Ensure the Pod is connected to strong Wi-Fi.

  • Sit with your child during the first few conversations.

  • Encourage open-ended questions to make interactions richer.

  • Keep the microphone unobstructed for clearer audio.

MyWonder Talking Cards transform a simple tap into a live conversation — turning imagination into an interactive, engaging, and magical experience.
