Content Cards
Tap-to-play cards that unlock stories, songs, music and learning audio.
MyWonder Content Cards give your child instant, screen-free access to immersive audio. There are no menus or screens: just tap and listen.
How Content Cards work
Each card has built-in NFC. When your child taps a Content Card on the Pod:
- The Pod recognizes the card.
- It identifies the linked audio experience.
- Playback starts automatically.
The first tap
The first time a card is tapped, the Pod downloads its content. This can take a few minutes, depending on how much content is on the card and your Wi-Fi speed. The LED eyes blink orange while downloading.
When the download is complete:
- Playback starts automatically.
- The content is stored on the Pod.
- Future taps play instantly, even without Wi-Fi.
Do Content Cards work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. After the first download, the card works offline and plays instantly. Wi-Fi is needed only to:
- Download the content the first time
- Download new or updated content
Automatic content updates
Some Content Cards are dynamic. When new content is available for a card, the Pod downloads it automatically the next time it’s connected to Wi-Fi. The updated content is then available offline too.
